July 12, 2013 N/A
The Coosa River Paddling Club will be holding a club trip on July 12- July 14, 2013 at the Ocoee River and Hiwasee River. The trip is not limited to kayaking as there are areas for hiking, biking and other great outdoor activity. We have created an invitation on Facebook for everyone to respond as well as our CRPC site. You can also let us know if you would like to attend by emailing us at email@example.com.
We will be camping at Adventures Unlimited Friday and Saturday night. Camping is on your own but we will all be camping together. The only cost depends on what you do. The paddling club will be providing pizzas Saturday night. Depending on the number of people participating, we will either go to the Gondolier Restaurant to eat Saturday night or we will pick up the pizzas and bring them back to the campground.
If a member of the CRPC brings a guest then the cost to bring a guest is $10.00 (payable to the Coosa River Paddling Club) and they become a member of the CRPC. I will be one of the guides for the Ocoee River on Saturday and Gray and Beth Biggs will be guiding people down the Hiwassee on Saturday. We will run the upper and middle sections of the Ocoee. Some people may not wish to run the Upper Ocoee section and will meet us at the middle put in.
Several of the members will run the Ocoee on Friday afternoon and Sunday morning too.
If you have any questions, please let us know.
